Shocked at first, maybe a little upset but after a lot of rationalizing, I'd decide to think of it as something good, something flattering. Then again, it all depends on whether the person asked permission or not. I would feel a whole lot better if that person had told me about writing that fanfiction beforehand rather than I'd have to find out about it through someone else...if that makes sense :)
